Paper Documents Are Still Everywhere
We need digital approval without time or place constraints, but have no way to do it
💸
Too Many Solutions, Too Expensive
Per-user costs add up, making us hesitant to adopt anything at all

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

GoWorks is a enterprise e-approval system built around Korean business workflows fully integrated with Microsoft 365, the world’s #1 collaboration platform. It fills the gaps Microsoft 365 doesn’t cover — approval practices unique to Korean companies (consensus, CC, receipt, circulation, etc.) and org-chart features — as an all-in-one groupware solution that handles everything on a single platform, with no need to switch tools.

No separate integration work is needed. GoWorks is provided as a dedicated Teams app — one click on the sidebar icon takes you straight to the approval screen. You get approval request notifications directly in Teams during chats or video calls, and you can review and approve documents the same way on the mobile app.

The Shared model is a SaaS offering you can start using immediately after subscribing — no server setup required — making it a great fit for SMEs that want value and fast adoption. The Dedicated model, installed on its own Azure tenant, offers independent resources and custom tailoring, making it a better fit for mid-sized and large enterprises that need strong security and company-specific features.

Yes. GoWorks supports integration with commercial ERPs such as Yeongrimwon and custom-built ERPs through a standard interface (API). This lets you unify ERP voucher approval and expense requests with GoWorks e-approval, building an automated workflow with no duplicate data entry. (*Available on the Dedicated model; a separate quote is required depending on the integration method.)

bizplay is Korea’s #1 expense management solution. It goes beyond simply pulling card transactions — handling corporate card, personal card, and cash expenses all at once through web and mobile apps. Processed expense data is instantly available as dedicated Excel data for ERP accounting integration, enabling fully automated expense settlement.

GoWorks runs on Microsoft Azure, world-class cloud infrastructure. It follows Azure’s rigorous security guidelines and guarantees 99.9%+ uptime. The optional ‘PDF Archiving’ add-on also permanently preserves every completed document in secure storage, so there’s no need to worry about data loss.

For the Shared model, setup is typically completed within 2 days of receiving your environment survey. The Dedicated (VM) model, including a customer-specific environment build, takes about 1 week. Note that ERP integration or bizplay adoption may require additional time for requirements analysis and consultation.

Yes, easily. GoWorks provides a powerful HTML5-based web editor, letting an admin create forms simply by copying and pasting from Word or Excel — no coding required. It also flexibly supports forms that need complex formulas or checkboxes.

GoWorks Pro Shared scales instantly just by adding user IDs. Storage comes with 1GB per user by default, and you can flexibly purchase more from the admin page whenever you need it.

There’s no need to install a separate app — a dedicated ‘GoWorks’ tab inside the Microsoft Teams mobile app gives you the same approval environment as on PC. That means everything from real-time notifications to document review and approval/rejection can be handled in one app: Teams.

Yes. We support optimal data migration for customers coming from other groupware platforms. This is typically done by downloading data in HTML or PDF format for viewing, though the exact scope can vary by data size and format — we recommend a detailed consultation before adoption.

Every completed document is securely stored on the Microsoft Azure cloud. For long-term retention or legal evidence, the optional ‘PDF Archiving’ feature automatically converts completed approval documents to PDF and permanently stores them in a designated SharePoint library.

Standard is a value-focused plan built around essential e-approval features. Premium is the higher-tier plan, including all the extended features that boost collaboration efficiency — receipt/department consensus processes, label folder settings, re-circulation of received documents, and more. You can choose the plan that fits your company’s stage of growth.

Korean and English are fully supported by default, and users can switch instantly in their personal settings. For global business needs, two additional languages can be configured, and the Dedicated model can be further developed to support even more languages and regions.

For annual contracts, canceling mid-term results in a refund of the remaining period minus a 25% penalty. Reducing the number of users is possible anytime on a monthly contract, but annual contracts don’t allow refunds for mid-term reductions — so please estimate the right number of users carefully when signing up.
